Pontins Week has become a major part of the LSAS calendar. The week offers Beach, Pier, Boat and Coarse fishing over four days (Monday to Thursday), with the Sam Hook Open held on Pakefield beach on the Sunday to kick the week off. Coarse fishing has become the largest section, with over 100 anglers taking part. The Society and Pontins both try to make the week a family affair, not just concentrating on the fishing.
