Winter results up to the end of January 2010.

Fixtures
The Winter fixtures. Venues will be decided from week to week after Christmas and will appear in the Journal. A Google map has been added for those who want to know how to get to our match venues and any other local haunts. It's not finished yet, so if you know of any other marks worth fishing/sharing they can be added too. The Society match rules and size limits are also kept on this page. Rule 3 has been changed to allow a second rod to be ready for use.

The Lowestoft Sea Angling Society holds matches every week of the year. From October to March matches are held on Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings. April to September only Tuesday evenings are fished, hence a Freshwater side being formed for those empty Sundays! The local beaches from Hopton to Pakefield are used for these matches, but occasionally other venues are visited. Twice a year a trip is taken to Orford Island for a day's fishing, usually on a Saturday in April and again in September.
The Society is involved in running local Open matches, including the Lowestoft Festival in November, the Boxing Day Open, the Lowestoft Carnival match in August, and a Spring Open.
The biggest event of the year for the Society is the Pontins Fishing Week. This is held at the Pakefield site in September, and caters for shore, pier and boat anglers. The event has become dominated by Freshwater fishing as it has grown, but the Society hopes to encourage more Saltwater anglers to take part.
