The Winter fixtures up to Christmas are below. Venues will be picked week-to-week after Christmas.
We now have a Google map to show local fishing spots, including our match venues. It needs some more work, but hopefully will be of some use to those who stumble across our website when searching for places to fish.

Society Match Rules
- Positions will be drawn for by competitors and any competitor who casts or fishes from other than his/her assigned position will be disqualified. There will be no changing of positions because of underwater obstructions.
- No competitor shall begin to fish before the start signal and must cease fishing when the signal to end the match is given. A competitor may practice cast into the water, without hooks or bait, up to five minutes before the start of the match.
- A competitor shall not have in use more than one rod at a time and the tackle attached shall not have more than three hooks. A reserve rod is allowed. Spare baited traces are allowed. Artificially propelled casting devices and techniques are barred.
- All competitors must cast and retrieve their own gear, assistance may be given to land a fish.
- In the event of fish being hooked (Including foul hooked) by two or more competitors, the fish shall not be eligible for weighing in. This also applies to fish landed on lost traces.
- Each competitor must have a bag/container to contain his/her catch. Fish may be kept in water, but any physical attempt to extend their length will result in the disqualification of the angler's total catch.
- All baits may be used including feathers and lures.
- Match times are as follows:

- Matches are always fished between two points on the particular venue being fished. These limits are available from the match secretary prior to drawing for your position.
- Fish weighed in must conform to current Ministry size limits, it is the size at the scales that counts.
